These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the website and services operated by Oak Tree Mastering ("we", "us", "our") at oaktreemastering.com. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Our services

Oak Tree Mastering provides professional online audio mixing and mastering services, including stereo mastering, stem mastering, and full mixing packages. Service descriptions, pricing, and turnaround times are set out on our Services page and are subject to change without notice. Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable.

3. Placing an order

When you place an order you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
• You own or have the necessary rights and licences to the audio files you submit.
• The information you provide (name, email, payment details) is accurate and complete.

A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion.

4. Payment

Payment is taken in full at the time of ordering via Stripe. All transactions are processed securely. We do not store your card details. In the event of a failed payment, your order will not be processed until payment is successfully completed.

5. Delivery and revisions

Completed files are delivered via a secure Dropbox link sent to your registered email address. Standard turnaround times are indicated at the time of booking. Rush delivery is available as a paid add-on. Each service includes the number of revisions stated in the service description. Additional revisions are available at the rates listed on our Services page.

6. Refunds and cancellations

Because our services involve significant skilled labour, we do not offer refunds once work has commenced. If you wish to cancel before work has started, please contact us at info@oaktreemastering.com as soon as possible. Cancellations received before work begins will receive a full refund. Your statutory rights under UK consumer law are not affected.

7. Intellectual property

You retain full ownership of all audio files you submit. By submitting files, you grant us a limited licence to process them solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order. We will not use, reproduce, or distribute your audio for any other purpose without your explicit written consent. All website content, branding, and materials created by Oak Tree Mastering remain our intellectual property.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to submit audio files that:

• Infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
• Contain unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or obscene content.
• Are submitted fraudulently or in bad faith.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order that violates these conditions, without refund.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Oak Tree Mastering shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our services, including loss of revenue, data, or business opportunity. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
